Carol Blankenship

​For many years, Carol has worked in operations and finance, satisfying the analytical and organized side of her brain. Outside of work, her creative side takes over with her head in the clouds writing stories—some making it to the page. Presley’s Run is her first published novel. After more than a decade in Chicago, Carol recently moved to the Southwest, returning to her childhood roots in Colorado, Nevada, and Utah. While outdoor adventures are her favorite, writing and reading are her indoor passions along with fitness, yoga, and baking. Carol has two grown children, one favoring the big city and one, the mountains. She lives in a small town where she continues to write, spend time with her dad, and seek out adventure for its own sake—and research!
